Post-WGA strike, the showbiz world has reinvented itself once again. At the end of the previous strike, the "spec script" was suddenly the new way to break in. This time, with high-quality digital production tools so inexpensive, the spec-produced webisode is the new calling card.

New Venice Beach Webisode Series
My friend and colleague Mary Feuer has launched a new webisode series, With the Angels, which is hosted on Strike.TV. She describes it as a "fish-out-of-water story of a small town Arkansas girl swimming in the freak-infested waters of Venice Beach, California."
They're up to Episode 7 already, so you've got some enjoyable catching up to do! The episodes are just bus-stop-wait long, less than 10 minutes.
